Body of Eris is an anthropomorphism of the strife that accompanies duality. Incarnation takes place in the facial and bodily features that have been assembled from the artist’s own clothing and studio materials. The creature is posed on thin legs, its posture slumped. Yet it is balanced: a depiction of grotesquely collected intermediacy between two opposing views.
