Grandfather Wreath is a strange loop. It was built around the impression of a cyclical nature existing between confluence and entropy. Both processes were key to the sculpture’s construction and neither process gives in to being overwhelmed. The materials fold, leak and stretch around each other. The results are toxic and unsettling. It is a paradoxical level-crossing feedback loop that suggests we are directly linked to all things.
