Gallery / Artist Exhibition Agreement
This agreement is to confirm that Alex Fisher (artist) will be exhibiting at Angell Gallery from Friday November
2nd, 2012 to December 1st, 2012, with a public opening on Friday November 2nd, 2012 between 6pm and 9pm. As
per negotiations, the terms of the exhibition are:

The artist will provide a selection of 3 to 4, 300 dpi press quality images (electronic image files) to be used on
the invitation by no later than October 11th, 2012. Angell Gallery and their graphic designer have complete
and final say on all invitation design. The artist’s input will always be considered prior to the design stage.
The artist will provide the particulars of the images submitted for the invitation including titles, sizes, year of
production and medium used by no later than October 11th, 2012.
The artist must provide a current artist statement regarding the work to be exhibited by no later than October
11th, 2012.
Digital images of all work in the exhibition will be provided for website purposes no later than October 20th,
2012. Title, dimensions and medium must be included either via email or on a separate excel file, word file or
PDF document. The images must press quality with a minimum of 300 dpi.
Any available support materials are to be delivered to the gallery by no later than October 20th, 2012. Support
materials include updated CV, and any related press articles.
All artwork submitted for exhibition must be properly labeled (on the back) with relevant details of the piece.
e.g. date, title, size, medium, artist’s name/signature if necessary
All artwork for the exhibition must arrive at gallery ready to be installed e.g. framed, wired or hooks on back.
Depending on the work this can be negotiated.
Any and all production costs incurred by the gallery will be used against all sales of artworks, until those
production costs have been reimbursed.
The artist is responsible for the transportation of their artwork to and from the Gallery, insurance for the artwork
during transportation, and any associated costs involved in transporting the work to and from the Gallery.
The artist must deliver all artwork, slated for exhibition at the Gallery, to the Gallery a minimum of five days
prior to the exhibition opening.
The artist is responsible for the artworks condition during transportation prior to and after the exhibition.
The artist must provide with the artwork a packing slip detailing all works delivered to gallery.
The artist is responsible for any future production costs, including after the sale of the work, due to defects in
the artwork and supports as a result of original production/construction issues.
The artist agrees that all artwork provided for the exhibition, whether on display or in inventory, will be
available for sale solely through Angell Gallery for 6 months after the closing date of the exhibition listed
above.
The artist must be available for media and or other promotional opportunities.
The artist will be in attendance for duration of the opening reception.
The Gallery reserves the right to postpone or cancel the exhibition if any of the above conditions are not
met by the artist.
35% commission to Angell Gallery on works sold from the exhibition.
Artist commission to be paid by O’Born Contemporary.
Sales of any subsequent editions of the work that remains in O’Born Contemporary (but having first seen the
work at Angell Gallery), 35% commission to Angell Gallery will be honored.
