Licensing

Alex Fischer artwork is available for licensed use in commercial, editorial, and branded contexts. Past licensing partners include Canada Goose, whose ongoing collaboration has placed Fischer's work across retail environments, campaign materials, and branded content internationally.

Licensing is handled directly through the studio, which allows for flexible terms and a straightforward process. Whether you need a single image for an editorial feature, a body of work for a branded campaign, or high-resolution files for large-format environmental graphics, licensing can be structured to fit the scope and duration of your project.

Use cases

Brand and campaign — Artwork licensed for advertising, packaging, retail environments, and branded content. Includes high-resolution master files, colour profiles, and format-specific deliverables.

Editorial and publishing — Reproduction rights for magazines, books, catalogs, and online publications. Rates scaled to circulation and distribution.

Interior and hospitality — Large-format prints and digital files for hotels, offices, restaurants, and residential projects. Often paired with custom sizing and framing specifications.

Digital and motion — High-resolution stills and animation loops for screens, projections, websites, and social media. Native resolution up to 16K for select works.

All licensing includes a written agreement specifying permitted use, territory, duration, and deliverables. Exclusivity arrangements are available where appropriate.

Fine art prints

Museum-quality fine art prints of select works are available to order directly through this site. Prints are produced on demand using archival materials and professional colour management, ensuring each print faithfully represents the original work.

How ordering works

The print ordering system is built directly into the gallery. Here is how it works:

1. Browse and select — Navigate the gallery or any project page. Works eligible for print ordering display an Order a Print button when you view them.

2. Configure your print — Clicking Order a Print opens a panel where you choose your size and medium. Available sizes range from 8×10" to 30×40", with a custom size option for specific requirements. Media options include archival inkjet on Hahnemüle Photo Rag, C-print on Kodak Endura, face-mounted aluminum on Dibond, and stretched canvas.

3. Request a quote — Once you have made your selections, fill in your name, email, and any notes (framing preferences, quantity, shipping destination). Submitting the form sends a quote request directly to the studio. There is no obligation at this stage.

4. Quote and confirmation — You will receive a personalized quote by email, typically within one to two business days. The quote includes the print price, any framing or finishing costs, and shipping. If you would like to proceed, payment is arranged directly — no automated checkout or cart is involved. This keeps the process personal and allows for custom requests that a standard e-commerce flow cannot accommodate.

5. Production and shipping — Once confirmed, the print is produced to order using colour-calibrated workflows from the original high-resolution master file. Production typically takes five to ten business days depending on the medium. Prints are carefully packed and shipped worldwide, with tracking provided.

Print media options

Archival Inkjet — Hahnemühle Photo Rag
308 gsm 100% cotton rag paper. Matte surface with deep blacks and a wide colour gamut. The reference standard for fine art reproduction. Suited to detailed compositions and works with subtle tonal range. Expected lifespan exceeds 100 years under proper display conditions.

C-Print — Kodak Endura
Traditional photographic printing on silver halide paper with a lustre or glossy finish. Rich, continuous-tone colour with a distinctly photographic feel. Well suited to photographic works, saturated colour fields, and images that benefit from optical depth.

Aluminum — Dibond face-mounted
High-resolution print face-mounted to brushed or white aluminum composite panel. Produces a luminous, frameless presentation with contemporary presence. Highly durable, UV-resistant, and suitable for commercial or high-traffic environments.

Canvas — stretched
Archival inkjet on artist-grade cotton canvas, gallery-wrapped on kiln-dried stretcher bars. Available with mirror-wrapped or colour-matched edges. A traditional presentation that bridges the print and painting formats.

Editions and originals

Prints ordered through this site are open-edition fine art reproductions unless otherwise noted. Select works are available as limited editions — these are marked in the gallery and in the quote. Limited edition prints are signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
